Went for a late birthday celebration with one of my best friends and we LOVED the experience!! Service was incredible! Juan was the best whatever we needed he was there!
I had a wonderful experience at The Century Room. It's a very cozy atmosphere, best for sharing with a special person or people. Dim lights, fire place, dark tones, etc. The service was exemplary. Attentive, but didn't hover. I ordered the brussel sprouts which were phenomenal, and the shrimp scampi which was equally delicious.
Had an absolutely stunning time here. The wait staff was nice and came by often. The drinks were well made strong yet delicious (had the black margarita and the hollywood). I had the pork chop and it was amazing and was complimented well by the vegetables it was paired with. I cannot speak more highly of this place. As it's nearby I think I'll come here whenever I'm feeling peckish and somewhat fancy. Oh and try the creme brulee it is divine!
I’ve eaten here before and it was excellent. I stayed at the hotel and the restaurant closes early on Sunday, but I was able to get something to eat in the bar. We ordered a double cheeseburger smash with fries and it was delicious.
I dined here while staying at the Historic Santa Maria Inn and it was a comfortable upscale experience. My roommate and I went down for dinner between 7:30pm and 8pm and the host welcomed us with a smile and showed us to a table near the fireplace. . It was a Tuesday night so the restaurant was fairly empty. There were only one or two other parties in the establishment. Knowing this place is pricey we kept it light and simple with water and lemon to start and skipped the alcohol. I order the stuffed quinoa ratatouille as my entree and a side of shrimp as a protein. . The servings were pretty big so you definitely get what you pay for. They also brought bread and butter to the table which is a staple I miss in most restaurants. The dish was not overly flavorful, but very filling. The shrimp was well marinated and had a thyme, lemon and butter profile so herbal and savory. Service was prompt and they did not rush us out although we were the last party to leave. Would definitely dine here again and recommend to anyone seeking a ritzy, vintage dinner!
One of our friends recommended santa maria inn restaurant. Its funny when we want to go out for breakfast we never think of the santa maria inn. We went to try it food was good. I just wish our coffee was a little more drinkable. It was really strong for my taste. The food came quick. Under my hash browns there was some rice paper wish it was taken off my plate before brought to my table. The place is beautiful, clean and we will come back soon. The price was perfect. We will go back with our friends and sit at the patio. Beautiful
Gorgeous space with a refined atmosphere, excellent food and great service. An experience. Tip: For weekend brunch, Sunday mornings start a little slower. So going early can be a great way to ensure you don’t miss out.
We are regulars here and it's one of our favorite spots in Santa Maria. They revamped the menu recently and the new options are excellent. The new Pastrami Reuben is the best sandwich I've had in some time. Fish tacos and the salmon are go-to favorites. The service is attentive and friendly, with an elegant atmosphere. Very fair prices for the portions and quality. Absolutely would recommend trying this place!!
